Yesterday I ordered a solenopsis fugax queen. I have heard that they are very tiny and are good at escaping but I don't know what nest I can buy that they won't escape from. Does anyone know a nest the solenopsis fugax will not be able to escape from?

Queen found climbing tree in northern spain. Around 4-6mm. Could be solenopsis or temnothorax

I want to ship some ants (a small 5 workers myrmica rubra colony) to Spain.
Will they be held back in customs, I have checked the list for species not allowed and this one is allowed.
And what is the best postal service that will gurantee that my ants don't stress out due to disturbance?

I heard about ant poop an how it can cause mold.
Is there any way I can prevent ants from pooping inside the nest?
And if they poop inside the nest what should I do?

Once her worker appear will I be able to?
Should I go and give a worker (once she has quite a lot) to a proffesional taxonomist?

The country that I come from says that it is fine to import them, but Australia says I need a permit. But the hardest part will be finding a queen to buy.

I really want to keep a Opisthopsis colony but unfortunatly they live in Australia. Is there any way I could leagally keep a colony of these ants in Europe?
