Re: Help with Queens in general.
Those are not Tetramorium queens. Those are parasitic Lasius queens. They will need the brood of another Lasius sp. Colony to get started.

Re: Acromyrmex Lundii feeding?
I would try rose buds. I heard they are a favorite among Acromyrmex. I also heard that oatmeal works.

Mexican Dwarf Crayfish
I recently acquired 3 orange dwarf crayfish. 1 male and 2 females. They are in a ten gallon tank. They have a pretty cool personality, which is why I got them. I am thinking of adding some shrimp and small fish.

Ants4fun's Lasius Alienus journal
I acquired this queen last summer. After she reared a couple workers, most of the workers and brood died. This is because the THA atom formicarium (this is the older model, the newer model is supposed to have fixed or significantly reduced the hydration issue.) they where in did not hold water very ...

Colony 5 and colony 2 sa...

Ants4fun's Camponotus pennsylvanicus journal
April 16, 2015 I caught this queen along with four workers a little less than a week ago. I assume she had her nuptial flight last year. I found her in a rotten log. They had no brood, and we're really slow from hibernation. Since then she has laid five eggs. I am keeping her in a tarheelants' talu...

Re: anyone
Yeah, I pulled a couple colonies out a few days ago. I usually hibernate my ants for about three months.
