Hey I have a Formica rufa queen that I am planning to sell on the Gan project once she has workers. It seems she has one larvae that is a dark brown color! What does this mean, I assume it's dead

How do I get spring-tails into my ant colony? They put their garbage in the nest and spring-tails would help right?

Mites, idk how to get them but they come naturally, some mites are good and some are bad, the good ones eat the garbage

I had the same question I have 3 workers now and it takes around a month and a half (Formica subcerica) to go from egg to worker, to go faster don't bother the queen and keep them in a warmer area

So I just watched AntsCanada's last vid, I'm sacred because I'm building an out world just like that, I was wondering if Formica subsericea can do that because he said only some species do that.
