Re: How To Catch Prenolepis Imparis

Workers are about two or three millimeters, I'm not sure how big compared to fire ants because I have never seen them. As for rain, it honestly doesn't matter. Unlike other ants, P. Imparis seems to fly based solely on temperature, so rain isn't a factor.

They will often nest at the base of trees, but can be found almost anywhere. The workers are a light tan to a dark brown/black. They are active almost all day,...

Re: YsTheAnt's Camponotus Modoc Journal

Unfortunately four workers died, I think from formic acid, because I had to move them since they left a cricket inside and it was molding and nearly got to them. This probably caused then to step in their own acid. Good news is queen seems healthy and she is moving towards the heating cable, along w...

Re: Is formiculture down?

Umm dude I like FC (formiculture) more, I think you misunderstood me. By saying you can sell stuff that's not AntsCanada on formiculture I meant that it is more open, because it isn't affiliated with AC. Bottom line is that AntsCanada forums are managed by AntsCanada and therefore lean towards AntsC...
