Lasus Niger hibernation

Hi all, I have had my lasus Niger colony for 8 months now and all is going well ( I'm new to ant keeping by the way). I live in UK and was wondering when I should resume feeding, I know they hibernate through the winter but don't know when their hibernation stops, thank you kindly.

Success on the move from test tube to Formicarium. The queen now has 9 Nanitics and lots of eggs that I can watch constantly due to red acetate covering the nest. I have a tube running from the nest to the out world and in the out world I have a water/cotton wool test tube for their water and a plas...

I didn't set the test tube up. I'm new to ant keeping and got the queen without eggs online, she has lots of eggs in there now at different stages. I'm wondering if it's a good idea to put some of the protein jelly I bought online on a piece of foil in the test tube, would that give her water as wel...
