I could sell them on gan but I live in the country and the nearest city is an hour away so I don't think anybody would buy from me .

Yah i know not great question but i heard that its not good to return queens to the wild because of disease.

Is there any fungus growing species in Central Texas .

Is there any fungus growing ants in Central Texas ? I know there are fungus growing ants in other parts of Texas but I don't know if there are any in Central Texas .

Well I caught 2 queens and 1 of them is about to have workers and the other one I don't even know if it has larva yet . The queen that's not doing good I think is just having trouble starting a colony but that's just a guess .

That's because it is . I put it into rubbing alchohal that way I could pin it and study it under a microscope . Would you like me to take better pictures ?
