I feed a huge pogo colony in my yard. My 5-year old daughter is always happy to pull grasshopper's heads off to feed the ants. At work I just watch them because if they get too big, they might get poisoned.

I will try to get accurate measurements next time I check on my queens. I'm giving them 2 weeks because I just added 4 more.

I have found many of these queens from April through July. They are about 10mm or 11mm. I suspect this is Camponotus but I'm not sure. I have 4 of this species and 1 already has live brood.

I suspect this is Camponotus but I'm not sure. I have 4 of these queens and 1 already has 2 nanitics. SIZE: Approximately 10mm or 11mm. I have seen these female alates almost all Summer.
