Um help?

So I got a new AntsCanada ant tower and it came with sand, I assumed it was digging medium but I’m not sure anymore if that was a good idea, can ants dig in sand or was that a bad idea?

Re: Is colored aquarium sand dangerous for ants?

Not at all! Aquarium Sand is completely harmless to your colony! I use it with my fire ants and it works fine. Sand also let’s your colony design their setup the way they want it!

P.s. if it was bad then they wouldn’t use it with fish and most fish are delicate to water conditions

Re: Prenolepis Imparis Merging Colonies

It’s a 50/50 chance they will... they will either 1,kill each other...2, merge then later queens betray each other and one or more dies.... 3,they merge and live happily ever after!
