It's not that it's any better for rearing queens and foundin...

Camponotus fly in the mid summer too, and sometimes in the fall if the colony doesn't have enough food to keep the alates overwinter.

Re: Important question on componotus nuptial flights!!!

You can still find them flying. On his channel, he just caught like 6 Camponotus pennsylvanicus queens in Toronto, Canada. That's what I was asking about, why do they have two separate nuptial flights? Not only do different colonies fly on different days, most colonies have multiple nuptial flights...

Re: Tetramorium hybrid nest- how realistic?

Although i agree it should keep the boxes and stay semi linear, I believe you should give it slight curves in the corners and entrances just to make it look nicer! Big fan of AntsCanada products!!! Our new version of Tetramorium nest will have sight curves and rounded edges rather than straight and...

Dear AC pleeeeeeeeeaaaaase bring back the habitat nest burrow

Who else agrees with me that they want to see their ants dig tunnels in the natural AntsCanada habitat nest burrow, its a glorified uncle Milton setup and I would love to get it! Or if you had any leftover I'd be interested in buying so you don't have to start manufacturing it again, it's an amazing...
