Re: A few questions about making a home-made grout outworld

Ok so just so you guys know, I'm 14 so I know I most likely need adult supervision for this. Another thing is I don't need answers in a rush because I don't need it immediately. Ok so the rant starts... Let's see, I guess to start off I'll mention that I already have an AntsCanada Omni-Nest large t...

Re: Ants congregating in outworld

I too have been noticing that my tetramorium ants have one chamber almost filled with trash. They take up about half the nest right now. What can I do to get them to move the trash out? I also have a hybrid nest.

Re: Eggs not seeming to be developing.

The point of hibernation is to let them be cold. If it turns out that you need to hibernate, place the tube in a room that stays roughly the temp outside. (Garage, basement) never place them actually outside. Im not sure, but I think development does stop.

Re: Camponotus castaneus....

Any information is much appreciated but I live in Tennessee in the US. Camponotus castaneus is the main species I want and I have done my research on them...trust me :D . So I guess I'm looking for when and where would be a good time to look for them in my area. It's different in every state (kinda...

Re: Ant queens with workers/eggs

Sorry if this is wrong place again. I'm living in Spain, Zaragoza. I'm planning to move away so i can't keep this queens or made them a respectable home. So instead of letting them fail and die i'm trying to give them (i'm not interested in selling). So if somebody near me is interested in Ant farm...

Re: My new tetramorium colony

So what kind of setup do you have? Im interested to see. Mine are in a Lasius Hybrid nest. I haven't actually bought a nest, but I have created one from a plastic container with the sections in it, then drilling holes in the segment walls, so that they can go in between. It's a little like a DIY om...
