Camponotus ants and black mold

There is black mold in my test tube setup. I made it a double test tube setup hoping the colony would move to the other side but they haven't shown any signs of moving at all.

Are they immune to black mold? or should I try something else to get them to move?

Re: Feeding a colony in a test tube setup.

That could work, but there is always a worker on the cotton on the exit side.

Feeding a colony in a test tube setup.

I have a camponotus colony with 2 workers, I know I can wait a bit before feeding them but I will have to eventually. How can I do that when they are still in the test tube without worrying about them getting out?

Re: My colony won't move into their formicarium!

It is just plastic, Should i coat it with something? Also yes the test tube has no water, but from time to time I see condensation where the water used to be.

Re: My colony won't move into their formicarium!

There is over 20 workers, I have fed them before in the old setup but I can't because the way it is setup at the moment. I was hoping they would of at least sent scouts to go get the food from the out world.

My colony won't move into their formicarium!

They have just stayed into the test tube and barely explored the new area. The out world is connected to the new formicarium so they haven't had food for 3 days now. Should I move the test tube into the out world so they can at least get food and water?

Camponotus Herc. Escaping!!!

I got a camponotus Herc yesterday and I wake up to find its digging through the cotton to get out if she keeps digging she will escape. She doesn't have wings either and has already been confirmed to be a queen.
