No. not solely. You may supplement some fish food, but their protein should mainly consist of insects.

I have a young camponotous americus colony with only seven workers, this is my first colony and at this stage I am wondering what and how often i should feed them. I gave them a cricket leg wwhich they accepted and some honey in the outworld, aswell as some cracker crumbs, but they dont seem to be a...

Ant keepers from southwestern ontario

If there are any antkeepers in southwestern ontario that are interested in a few months i will have some tetramorium colonies and maybe a camponotous colony for sale on the GAN project.

Im not sure where you are situated but in my area camponotous queens are no longer flying. Maybe turning over some logs in the woods or looking in cracks and crevices in old stumps might be your best bet to find one. best of luck!

If you mean it is a pavement ant then it would be tetramorium sp. e but pictures and measurements would defidently help
