Have you heard of an ant called the white footed ant? That species is Technomyrmex albipes and they are highly invasive, they look quite similar to black crazy ants and so you may not know about them since they look almost identical to you. Heating cables/pads are very good for Camponotus. Small colonies don’t eat a lot of food, just feed them once a week or so. I hope this helps you! :) The queen died. Very strange. Once a week?
