I think it's a queen. She is a lazarus. Only saying that cause I can see her legs and antenna are yellow. no worker ants I know of have that trait. I'd say I'm 98.9 percent sure. Nice catch btw

I've always had great results with pupea from wild colonys. Eggs and larva never seen to make it for me. Plus if it's just the queen she has to feed all the larva and that can be bad. But small numbers are ok. I say go for it.

The ants that are hatching need to be removed by another and it if it is your first nautic the queen. If they are not removed and then the webbing taking off they will die. I log. Instill run into logs full of males n queens. I'm always out doors and I think there not flying yet. I have not even seen pupae yet.

Also don't add any bedding. They are fine in test tubes ir anything that can keep them hydrated clean and warm. Out her in a test tube set up. Look it up if you don't know what it is and let her be in the dark. Seeing she is campo I say you can look at her 1 or 2 times a week.

I have Campontus n colonys.i say its a good chance but by the pics you cant tell for sure. It could also be Camponotus H. They are so similar. But a campo for sure.

Mine seen to dislike most forms of insects. They love crickets. Also honey water and sugar water also a jolly rancher you wet. But I have tryied to give them mealworms, worms, flys, house meats, dog food, fruit, they didn't touch any of it. But I have never tried fruit flys those may work.
