I'm in Arizona as well. And I caught 13 queens a few nights ago, which I'm fairly sure they are imported fire ants. I haven't been lucky enough to find a harvester flight yet. Wow nice! I think I might have caught 1 possible fire ant. But i know I have like 20+ Brachymyrmex Patagonicus (Rover Ants)...

I'm hoping to get on to the GAN page at some point. The monsoonal weather out here is so unpredicatable. Luckily I caught 13 tonight, I need to have one identified still but I'm going out again tomorrow to see if I can get more.

For me Ant love is finding a Queen in my work place and then finding a way to keep her, since I wasn't really expecting to. So far she's doing great with her brood.
