Re: Omni Nest or Hybrid Nest

Does anyone out there like hybrid nests? I love my Hybrid Nests. I have 4 of them (currently using one until my population grows). I looked at both the hybrid and the omni before finally settling on the hybrids. I chose them because they simulate the chambers of the specific species you are keeping...

Re: Greetings from the east of England

Welcome! I'm the same way with keeping ants as a kid, found a Camponotus queen while redoing my driveway, and re-sparked my interest. She's currently at 15 workers with a large clutch of eggs and a few larvae. I'm actually going to be over in your neck of the woods visiting London in May. I can't wa...

Re: Cale's Camponotus pennsylvanicus colony

I read somewhere that Camponotus pennsylvanicus can grow to be 15,000 strong. I want that so badly.

Re: Heating Cable?

I looked two places over the last couple weeks and couldn't find a heating cable. I did find undertank heating mats for reptiles. If they are around then I will find them eventually I guess. Here's the one I (and most people) use on amazon. https://www.amazon.com/Zoo-Med-Reptile-Cable-11-5-Feet/dp/...
