Re: 2 ant queens pheidole or solenopsis

The one without wings looks like pheidole sp. To me. Edit: thinking could be Camonotus after comparing the ants in another post and this quote. Camponotus americanus . C. pennsylvanicus can sometimes have orange legs like that. To upload to youtube, using your phone... uh... first you need an accoun...

Working around the plants outside we have sone stepping bricks. I picked one up and found a group of 4, what i think are queens together. The queens all look the same. Are 3mm from gastor to mandibles. I cant quite count but looks to be at least 5 segments on the antenna. And i think there are 2 pet...

Re: Frustrating Laws (Hoping for Heated topics and debate)

Yea, the whole queen cross state lines thing is a problem. But its there for a reason.
But.. you aren't doing it for the GAN project , you are at CA for some time and you are just bummed about if you find a queen if you can't bring it home?

Re: Want to be gan farmer, questions.

1. I think you need to provide them with workers (as a picture with some is required) to prove the queen is fertile.
2. I think it is any price you want to list them as.
3. There is a $10 surcharge, So maybe or maybe not.
