Hey, could you maybe identify this species? I think its an Acrobat ant and its a queen right?
I found it in a park on Jan 1st 2022.Its around 7 mm.I live in UAE, Dubai.

I gave it some honey.

I also suggest looking in parks as they are perfect places for ants in hot regions. With plenty of food and water. Might find queens there like I did. I live in UAE,Dubai and found carpenter ant queens in my nearby park.

This reply might be late but those ants kinda look like Carpenter ants (soldiers) and are also common in UAE,Dubai.If you want to find the queens of this species try looking in parks at april or may. You can also maybe find other species of queen ants in june, july or september. Hope this is helpful.

Yup, there should be nuptial flights. Around may,june,july and sometimes also september. I would suggest looking in parks at these months as ants need water and food.The park is great for that as people sometimes just throw foods in the trash or ground and is great food for them.
