Relying on color will not be enough to identify. Make sure that your image is available for public viewing.

The other ants do not look like Lasius flavus.

There are literally zero practical visual indicators that show whether a queen is mated or not. Social parasites do not have large gasters.

I wouldn't make a guess just based on coloration, but I can hardly see the ants.

Photobucket no longer shares images to 3rd party sites (not for free, anyways). You'll have to try a different image host like Imgur or Flickr.

Only if the ants have regular access to the outside of the tubing AND the tubing leads somewhere you don't want them to go. Bear in mind that "deterrent" is not necessarily "repellant".
