Whenever you see her wandering around outside the nest would likely be a good time to feed her. She probably had brood she was already caring for, so she might be a little slow to start over again.

Let's not confuse fertility with the queen's mated status. Those are two different things, and there is no proof that infertility is behind the failure some of our queens have to start.

These pictures don't help much. The lighting and focus needs to be better. Also, no measurement, as the rules require you to provide for ID requests.

Myrmica sp. That measurement is definitely wrong.

Semi-claustral, so she will need small, soft-bodied arthropods like Drosophila flies.
