Hey AntsRule, I have two queens with some Nanitics!!! Do you have any so far? Don't know exact species but I caught them 5/12 and now they both have 3-5+ workers : ) tiny yellowish ants!!! Wooooo!

hey @AntsRule, I found 15 Tetramorium queens this am outside right before it rained. Plus a MONSTER Camponotus pennsylvanicus queen under a log. HAHAHA Tis the Season!!!!!!!!! Tis the season to catch queenies fa-la-la-la-la-----la-la-la-laaaaa :lol: Congrats! Thanks : ) I found another Tetramorium ...

Please Help ID my newest Queen Ant

Caught in Lancaster County, PA 6/23/16 @ 1220pm on a sidewalk near a baseball field. She measures 6 or 7mm and is dark brown with lighter brown legs. Looks close to Tetramorium but I think the spot between her abdomen and thorax looks different. Thanks everyone!!!

15 more Tetramoriums caught this am around my house. Wow, these things are around today! Go grab them PA! Even found a big Camponotus pennsylvanicus under a log. Humid and perfect for Anting!!!

In this case does your Mm stand for millimeter or what? :D yep millimeter :D How do you take such accurate pictures close up....my dads Canon never focuses :oops: I use a cheap $5 Macro lens that hooks to a cell phone or tablet. really? I swore tetramorium were smaller. Wonder what the little brownish ants are that always travel across my brick and sidewalks... the queens are MUCH smaller than this is. This is about the size of a worker Camponotus Pennsylvanicus... Maybe a hair smaller but I don't know quite yet, Im still n...
