Hello fellow Ohioans I'm from Madison, Oh. about 45-50 mins east of Cleveland. I'm new to the ant keeping world and I'v caught what i believe are 2 winter ant queens out in the woods in my back yard. Neither of them have layed any eggs yet though. Can someone tell me if really have queens.

I caught what I think is a queen ant have her in a test tube setup right now if someone can identify and tell me if she is a queen or not that would be helpful. I caught her today 2/24/20 in ohio so I'm thinking it's a winter ant but I'm not sure lol. Its hard to get a length on her cause she wont s...
