Umm, I don't know. I think that some people will think themselves better than others just because they have a higher rank and then this hole hobby will just turn out to a big competition. And that might ruin the hole experience so, good idea but i will vore no.

I just got a winter ant queen I found her under a rock with about 12 workers and a whole bunch of males but I have had her for about four days and she still hasn't shed her wings and is tearing the cotton on the dry side apart so can someone tell me what's wrong please Hi DavidT, If you found a que...

I would just like to say that since posted I have found a 7th queen in the pool (also with wings) but this one took her wings off in the test tube, she's the only one that's alone the others are in groups of 3 and 3. Will these queens get along? Also I forgot to say but they're about 4mm or so long...

Made some research and I think that that is a camponotus noveboracencis. You can google the specie yourself and see if it matches your queen

Ok so this is going to be a long post of pics. All were found on 3/26/16 in Cisco Texas. I will number each ant if anyone can ID them for me let me know. I'm not sure if they are all ants or not.
