Hello, I have made posts trying to identify the exact species and some of the posts the experts were unsure, so I have taken measurements the best I could and properly pin pointed the exact location where they were caught. I really want to know everything I can about them, I want to try and keep one...

I caught these in the evening on a sidewalk, they were everywhere. I only had a bottle to gather them but as soon as I got home I separated them all. Please help with the ID, need to also know if they need to eat while in founding stage and if they can have multiple queens per colony. Thanks a milli...

Caught her in a small town area called Kinosota, she is all black and not sure if it’s a carpenter or something else.
When I caught her, she still had her wings and she shed them within an hour.

I don’t understand, I have to go out and raid a nest for some pupae? Otherwise she will do nothing? Once she has workers, she will start to lay eggs?

Hello, Was wondering if someone could help me ID this ant species and also if these are even queens, they looked a lot different and larger then the other ants in the general area.
