Please help identify

Caught her in a small town area called Kinosota, she is all black and not sure if it’s a carpenter or something else.

When I caught her, she still had her wings and she shed them within an hour.

Thanks.

Re: Identify species please

I don’t understand, I have to go out and raid a nest for some pupae? Otherwise she will do nothing? Once she has workers, she will start to lay eggs?

New to this, Help ID please

Hello, Was wondering if someone could help me ID this ant species and also if these are even queens, they looked a lot different and larger then the other ants in the general area. This is my first time to go and and look for some, hope both are queens. Super excited. https://imgur.com/gallery/EInrj...
