Ant love is the amazing connection between ants and humans. Ants are just so amazingly interesting and are soo cool. Ant love is when your colony succeeds through stages and becomes massive. Ant love is when you check on your colony every thirty minutes. Ant love is when even though your not allowed ants in the house you try your hardest to Convince your parents. Ant love is when no matter what you and your ants will always be together.

What is ant love?
Thats is somthing that perhaps I have yet to conpletly find out as i am new , and never have had an ant farm yet.
The thing that drives me is the appreciation for the way a colony of ants can work together, and how good it can feel to be able to witness it all.
That to me is the best description on ant love :3
Love the videos <3 , Gl to everyone !

Ant Love is the awareness of how important Ants are to the survival of this fragile world.
It is the feeling of deep gratitude and admiration to the little fellas who silently maintain balance to our ecosystem. Even if some Ant species have become pests in a some countries(which was mainly due to humans), Ants are still as important as the air we breath. The devastation that people brought upon their habitat is tremendous, but still they find ways to cope up and thrive. Ants have been here long before us and they will continue to be here long after we are gone. We are all lucky to have these magnificent care takers of the world. Ant love is what all the creatures of this planet should have.

''Ant love is when you try to explain to your parent why you want to capture a small organism that will end up in over thousands of other individuals, and then carefully telling them that you want to keep the colony stored INSIDE your HOUSE as well without getting any weird looks ." #AntLove

Ant love is something that shapes your life. When I was a boy I was fascinated by the little creatures so much so I gave my first primary school talk on the queen ant at age 7. What I saw kindled my interest in biology so furiously that I learned all I could at the library Then later the internet. From spending years becoming more interested in social structure in their nests I finished high school and went on to university at which I am studying biology. To hopefully gain employment researching the insect world. Ant love truly shaped my entire life I am 23 years old and looking forward to more years traveling far and wide to find out more about these little tiny insects that have had such an impact.

Ant love is having the capacity to LEARN things from these AMAZING creatures that have been around for SO LONG. It is having PATIENCE observing thru a glass tube for weeks at a time, not being able to do anything about it and trying to HOLD in the EXCITEMENT of the first hatch. Ant love is NOT GIVING UP on them even though their queen has died due to unforseen reasons..and keep on REINTRODUCING another matriarch(5x) so that the existing colony can survive(and they're thriving). It is not only MAKING SURE they get their fill of nutrition..but also FIDING WAYS to give them the BEST POSSIBLE living conditions. It's more than just RESEARCH, it's more than just a HOBBY, it's even more than what we can RELATE to..and we can relate to them a lot. It's #AntLove.

Ant love for me started when I was very young, my first encounters with Ants were quite unpleasant since the most common Ant species here in the Philippines is the Solenopsis Geminata, they are very aggressive and will sting together at once. But even though I got stung countless times, I never came to hate the little guys, in fact I became more interested in them because of those encounters. I grew so fond of Ants that I would handle them whenever I came across any Ant, even the aggressive weaver ants were not an exception, I would let them crawl over my arms and then my family and/or friends would freak out hahaha! I am a very reasonable person even when I was a child so I knew that they only attacked when threatened. Whenever there was a program on the television about Ants, I would clear my schedule straight away so that I could watch it. Most often the host of those programs would be Mr. David Attenborough which I admire very much, I was so hooked that I would even watch the repeat showings over and over again.
For a very long time I desired to take care of Ants, but our family had a very limited budget and we had a small home. So I just continued to admire and observe them in the wild.
It was only years later that I got the chance to take care of Ants. I still had an incredibly limited budget, but that did not stop me. I made their homes as comfortable as possible using only the most affordable materials. I went through a ton of obstacles in taking care of them, thankfully I now had more resources to refer to online, prominently AntsCanada. With the help of Mikey Bustos' videos, I successfully raised my Ant colonies.
You don't need to have an Ant colony to experience Ant Love, all you need is the passion, admiration and respect for them.
Ant love is not only the love for Ants as creatures, it is the love for their existence and the entirety of what they are, what they have done and what they will continue to do for our world.
